Do you have all parks of Switzerland?

We're continuously expanding our database, but we don't yet have every park in Switzerland. We focus on including the most popular and significant parks, along with hidden gems across the country. How do you know the size of the park?

Park sizes are calculated based on geographical map data and boundaries. We use advanced mapping tools to determine approximate area measurements. While we strive for accuracy, these figures should be considered estimates rather than precise measurements. For parks with official size information, we incorporate that data directly from authoritative sources.

Is the distance to park a route distance?

The distance displayed is a direct "as the crow flies" measurement and not the actual route distance. This provides a quick reference point, but please be aware that actual travel distances may be longer, especially in mountainous regions or areas with natural barriers like rivers or valleys. For accurate route planning, we recommend using the "Get Directions" feature, which calculates the actual travel distance and route options.

How often is the park information updated?

We update our database regularly through both automated systems and manual verification. Basic park information is refreshed at least quarterly, while seasonal details and special events are updated more frequently.
